As part of the most expansive allocation of flexible new rental assistance from the federal government in 20 years, HUD awarded fifteen "Stability Vouchers" to SPHA to assist families who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness to obtain and maintain housing. Applicants for the Stability Vouchers will be directly referred through the Coordinated Entry process, utilized by the Continuum of Care. These vouchers are similar to the Emergency Housing Vouchers explained above; however, they are funded in an on-going basis.
