St. Petersburg Housing Authority to Host Homeownership Summit

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (JULY 15, 2026) - The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) is hosting a homeownership summit designed to help residents better understand the homebuying process and connect with local professionals who can guide them on the path to homeownership.

The event is titled "SPHA Presents: The Keys to Homeownership Summit" and will feature the theme, "Meet the experts. Learn the process. Own your future."

The summit will feature presentations from professionals representing housing development, mortgage lending, home inspections, real estate, insurance, and property appraisal, giving participants a comprehensive overview of the homebuying process.

"This summit brings together experienced professionals who can help our residents better understand the homebuying process, ask questions, and take meaningful steps toward achieving their homeownership goals."

The summit is being organized by the SPHA Social Services team. "Whether someone is just beginning to think about buying a home or is ready to start the process, our Homeownership Workshop will provide valuable information and resources," said Kiara Lovett, SPHA Director of Social Services. "Our goal is to help residents feel informed, prepared, and confident as they pursue homeownership."
