ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Duke Energy and the St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) partnered to host a "Care, Connection and Community" outreach event for SPHA residents on March 31, 2026. The event was held at The Legacy at Jordan Park.

The event was presented in partnership with Duke Energy, Share the Light Fund®, and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

SPHA residents received one-on-one assistance from Duke Energy team members to help them manage their energy bill.

Over 180 SPHA residents were assisted during the event, receiving support with utility bills through both emergency funding and longer-term assistance programs. Participants also received information on energy conservation strategies and ways to better manage ongoing utility costs.

This collaborative effort reflects SPHA's ongoing commitment to connecting residents with valuable resources.

SPHA extends its thanks to Duke Energy for their partnership and for helping our residents.
