SPHA FSS Program Participant Closes on New Home

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (October 22, 2025) - The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) is proud to share that another participant in its Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program has achieved the dream of becoming a homeowner.

SPHA congratulates FSS Graduate Richard, who officially closed on his new home on October 22, 2025. His hard work, determination, and perseverance truly paid off.

SPHA also extends its thanks to Stofel & Associates Realty for their valuable support.

The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program is a voluntary opportunity for participants receiving HUD Section 8 Rental Assistance or living in Public Housing who want to improve their financial situation, reduce dependence on public assistance, and reach new goals through education, training, and employment.
