ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) organized an educational Journey to Homeownership Workshop on October 14, 2025, offering participants a comprehensive look into the path to becoming a homeowner.

Attendees gained valuable insights into credit, real estate, lending, and the home buying process. The workshop featured dynamic presentations by Lady Dee from Figure Don't Fold, and the knowledgeable team from Stofel & Associates Realty - Tyler Stofel, Matthew Wolk, and Patrick Haugabook. SPHA extends its sincere gratitude for their time, insight, and commitment to empowering aspiring homeowners in our community.

The workshop was part of SPHA's Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program. The FSS Program is a voluntary program available to all participants receiving HUD Section 8 Rental Assistance or living in Public Housing who wish to improve their financial situation, eliminate their dependence on public assistance, and are motivated to change their lives.
