SPHA Hosts Festive Family Night at Disston Place Apartments
Families crafting holiday ornaments at Disston Place Apartments.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL (DECEMBER 19, 2024) - The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) organized a festive Family Night at Disston Place Apartments on December 18, 2024.
The kids at Disston Place had a great time crafting holiday ornaments, and even the parents joined in on the fun, making ornaments of their own!
During the event, attendees also learned a fun holiday fact: the first manufactured Christmas ornaments were glass ball ornaments, called baubles, made by Hans Greiner in the 1800s.
The event was a wonderful evening filled with learning, crafting, and strengthening community bonds. SPHA is proud to create opportunities that bring families together and foster a sense of connection within its communities.
