ST. PETERSBURG, FL (JANUARY 22, 2025) - In January 2025, the St. Petersburg Housing Authority's Director of Communications, Nick Fokianos, attended the PHADA 2025 Commissioners' Conference in Miami.

Public Housing Authorities Directors Association (PHADA) is a nonprofit association representing public housing authority directors before Congress and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The conference featured sessions on key topics, including: Fair Housing rules, updates on HUD's implementation of the Housing and Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA), and the latest information regarding National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE).
