ST. PETERSBURG, FL (DECEMBER 9, 2024) - The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) hosted its 2nd Annual Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program End-of-Year Celebration and Recognition Ceremony on December 5th. The event honored our FSS participants for their dedication and hard work this year.

The FSS Program is a voluntary program available to all participants receiving HUD Section 8 Rental Assistance or living in Public Housing who wish to improve their financial situation, eliminate their dependence on public assistance, and are motivated to change their lives.

SPHA was honored to welcome Councilman-Elect Corey Givens Jr. and SPHA Commissioner Meiko Seymour, who delivered inspiring speeches. The evening was made even more special by the presence of First Lady of the City, Donna Welch. DJ Dondy brought the music and kept the celebration lively!

SPHA extends heartfelt congratulations to all of our FSS participants! Your achievements inspire us all! Keep reaching for the stars!
