About The Board

The St. Petersburg Housing Authority (SPHA) is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners, responsible for oversight and policy-making. Appointed by the Mayor of St. Petersburg and subject to confirmation by the St. Petersburg City Council, commissioners are unpaid volunteers who serve four-year terms. Regular Board Meetings

The Regular Meetings of the SPHA Board of Commissioners are open to the public and are held monthly in the board room at SPHA's offices, 888 Executive Center Drive West, Suite 100, in St. Petersburg, unless otherwise indicated.

• Regular board meetings are held at 2:00 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of the month, except in July and December. Board meeting dates, as well as agendas and minutes (as available), are listed in the sidebar.

Committee Meetings

Committee meetings of the SPHA Board of Commissioners are open to the public and are held monthly in the board room at SPHA's offices, 888 Executive Center Drive West, Suite 100, in St. Petersburg, unless otherwise indicated.

• The Residents’ Interests Committee meetings are held on the Wednesday prior to the board meeting at 12:30 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.

• The Finance Committee meetings are held on the Wednesday prior to the board meeting at 1:00 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.

• As needed, the Property Acquisition Committee or the Personnel Committee also meets on the Wednesday prior to the board meeting.
